For Golf Course Operators:
- How can I register my golf course?
You simply need to create a Golf Course Operator account at www.m-LastMinute.com.
- How many credits do I need to send one SMS?
The number of credits used per SMS depends on local mobile network providers. A list is provided on the Purchase Credit page after you login.
- How can I purchase SMS credit?
Golf Course Operators can purchase 100, 250, 500 or 1000 SMS credits via credit card, PaPayl or a wire transfer. After logging in, go to the Purchase Credit page.
- How long is SMS credit valid for?
The SMS credit is valid for 90 days after it is purchased.
- How do I add a golfer into the system?
You will first need to get a golfer's mobile number (with the golfer's consent to receive messages from you). After logging in, you can enter the mobile number in the Add Customer form. The mobile number will be added to your course and a confirmation message will be sent to the golfer informing them that they can manage their tee time preferences at www.m-LastMinute.com.
- How do I send a tee-time notice?
After logging in, you will complete a simple Tee Time Notice form. The text message will automtically be created and the number of golfer profiles that match your criteria will be identified. You can then send the message to all or some of the matchig golfers.
- How do I send a marketing message?
After logging in, you will complete a simple Marketing Message form. The message can be less than or equal to 160 characters. The text message will automatically be created and number of golfers that have opted-in to your marketing messages will be identified. You can then send the message to all or some of the matchig golfers.
- How come there are few Players found to match my tee-time notice?
First, you should revise your criteria as it likely doesn't match the preferences of golfers registered in the system. Second, you might need to enlist more golfers. Although m-LastMinute has a large database of golfers, they must first opt-in to your course. You can do this by adding their mobile number in the Add Customer form, OR golfers can select your course from their own account on the website.
- I forgot my password. What do I do?
Go to www.m-LastMinute.com click the Golf Course Operator section, press Forgot Password?, enter the email address registered on the account, and your password will be sent to that email address.
- Is it possible to make changes in my profile?
Yes, you can update your profile on the Account Admin page.
- What is the Golf Course ID?
The Golf Course ID is a unique 11 character code that you can create to identify your course. This code will appear as the sender when a golfer is viewing a text message. For example: PebbleBeach, St Andrews, etc.
- What is yield management and how does it apply to golf?
Yield management, also known as revenue management, is the process of allocating the right type of capacity to the right kind of customer at the right price to maximize revenue or yield.
Yield management has been an indispensable tool for increasing profits within airlines, hotels, transportation and other industries including golf. Yield management practices have a positive financial impact on the golf industry and represent a new trend in golf course management.
For Golfers:
- How can I sign up for m-LastMinute?
You can register by:
- Creating a Golfer account at www.m-LastMinute.com, OR
- Asking a participating Golf Course Operator to add your mobile number.
- How do I login to www.m-LastMinute.com if a Golf Course Operator registered my mobile number?
You will receive a text message with a temporary password. Your mobile number and the temporary password are used to login.
- What kind of text messages will I receive from m-LastMinute?
You will be sent Last Minute Tee Time Offers and Special Promotions (e.g. early bird discounts, twilight rates, stay & play, etc.) from participating Golf Courses that you have selected on your My Courses page, or to whom you have give your mobile number for them to add to the system. You can change your profile to start/stop receiving messages at any time.
- Can I customize my profile?
Yes, after logging in, you can specify your preferences on the My Preferences page.
- How do I select Golf Courses that I am interested in receivng messages from?
After logging in, you can add or remove Golf Courses on the My Courses page.
- I cannot find my favorite Golf Course on the m-LastMinute website. What do I do?
If the search results do not show the Golf Course you are looking for, you can request it to be added to the system by sending an email to request@m-lastminute.com specifying the requested Golf Course name.
- How do I stop m-LastMinute service?
After logging in, you can toggle the buttons to OFF for Tee Time Notices and Special Prmotions.
- How do I start m-LastMinute service again?
After logging in, you can toggle the buttons to ON for Tee Time Notices and Special Prmotions.
- I forgot my password. What do I do?
Go to www.m-LastMinute.com, click on the Golfer section and press Forgot Password?. Following the instructions on the screen and you will be logged in and can reset your password.
- What if I changed my mobile number?
After loggin in, go to My Account and select Change Mobile Number.
